Musician Kanye West attended to perform Gil Scott-Heron’s memorial service in New York on Thursday (June 2).The rapper with the performance of public services closed ‘Lost In The World’ taken from her 2010 album '‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’.
The track samples the line “Who will survive in America?”, whish is taken from the late musician and poet’s ‘Comment #1’.
According to the Billboard reports that the Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Cecil, Scott-Heron's wife Brenda Sykes, daughter Gia-Scott Heron also attended the service at Harlem's Riverside Church.
